During the specialized event for food producers and exporters, Sergiy Sydorchuk spoke about the risks that arise in the process of supplying goods. The expert explained the nature of risks both for the goods themselves (loss, destruction, damage) and for contracts on deferred payment terms (non-payment by the counterparty).
Our cases of cargo insurance claims settlement were also discussed. The participants of the congress could see the effectiveness of export process insurance on real examples.
The speaker drew attention to the prospects of implementing trade credit insurance in Ukraine. The demand for this insurance product is growing. INGO has already formed a portfolio of contracts worth UAH 1.5 billion of credit limits.
