Andrii Semchenko, Chairman of the Management Board of INGO, took part in the 13th EMEA WorldReach Partner Forum, hosted by international insurer FM in The Hague under the theme “Global Risks, Unified Solutions.” One of the key topics of the discussion was Ukraine’s experience in dealing with risks that, for many other markets, still remain scenarios for modelling and contingency planning.

FM is one of the world’s leading commercial and industrial property insurers, with a history spanning nearly 200 years. One in four Fortune 500 companies works with FM. Nearly 2,000 engineers across different countries help businesses identify risks, prevent losses and strengthen operational resilience.

INGO was represented at the Forum by Andrii Semchenko, Chairman of the Management Board.

The agenda covered global insurance programmes, risk management, climate-related threats, claims, and the future of corporate insurance. A separate part of the Forum was the “Co-Creating the Future” panel discussion, where Andrii Semchenko spoke alongside representatives of FM and SanlamAllianz.

Participants discussed the forces that will shape the future of corporate insurance: business resilience and recovery, emerging risks, innovative insurance solutions, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and the new infrastructure required to support its development.

Data centres are one of the clearest examples. Their development is accelerating rapidly alongside the growth of AI, as computing infrastructure and data storage and processing capacity become the foundation for further advances in artificial intelligence. As the scale of these facilities increases, so does the potential impact of any disruption. This brings power continuity, fire protection, equipment resilience, cyber risk and rapid recovery after losses to the forefront.

Andrii Semchenko also placed particular emphasis on the Ukrainian context. Many of the risks that businesses around the world are currently modelling and trying to anticipate are already part of everyday reality for Ukrainian companies. War-related damage, disruptions to logistics and energy supplies, and the need to restore operations quickly after losses have all become part of day-to-day business practice in Ukraine.

Only a few years ago, insuring war-related risks on this scale was widely seen as almost impossible. Today, the Ukrainian insurance market has accumulated real-world experience in assessing these risks, developing insurance solutions, attracting international reinsurance support, and settling claims arising from war-related losses.

INGO was among the companies that began developing this area well before the full-scale invasion, and since 2022 it has become one of the company’s key areas of expertise. INGO works with Ukrainian businesses that continue to manufacture, transport goods, operate vehicle fleets, store inventories and invest despite the war. It is precisely this experience that is now drawing the attention of international partners.

“Ukraine is increasingly becoming not only a country that needs international support, but also a source of practical expertise in areas where the world is still searching for answers. It is important for us to have the opportunity to represent this experience in international professional discussions,” said Andrii Semchenko.
