Information about the comprehensive insurance product under the Comprehensive Insurance Program "MANDRY"

1. Object of insurance

  • Insurance Class 18 – “Insurance of Expenses Related to Assistance for Persons in Difficult Situations During the Trip”: Covers the life, health, and working capacity of the Insured/Insured person, for damage caused or potentially caused by expenses incurred for medical treatment, medical transport, or other transport services during the trip or temporary stay in the territory specified in the Insurance Contract (hereinafter – medical and other expenses);
  • Insurance Class 1 – “Accident Insurance (Including Industrial Injuries and Occupational Diseases)”: Covers the life, health, and working capacity of the Insured/Insured person, which may be impaired as a result of an accident occurring during the trip or temporary stay in the territory specified in the Insurance Contract (hereinafter – accident);
  • Insurance Class 13 – “Other Liability Insurance (Except as Specified in Classes 10, 11, 12)”: Covers liability arising from the obligation to compensate for damage to the life, health, or property of a third party caused by the Insured/Insured person due to negligence, where damage to property is recorded by the competent authorities, while staying in the territory specified in the Insurance Contract (hereinafter – liability).
  • Insurance Class 7 – “Goods-In-Transit (Including Cargo and Baggage)”: Covers property under the possession, use, and disposal rights of the Insured/Insured person during the trip (hereinafter – baggage).
  • Insurance Class 16 – “Other Financial Risks Insurance (Except Those Specified in Classes 14, 15)”: Covers financial losses of the Insured resulting from forced cancellation of the trip or changes in the terms of the trip for reasons beyond the control of the Insured/Insured Person (hereinafter – trip cancellation)

2. Insurance risks and insurance limitations

Insurance risks under this product (The comprehensive list of risks covered is specified in the Insurance Contract):

Insurance Class 18:

  • Expenses for medical care due to a sudden illness or accident affecting the Insured/Insured person.
  • Expenses related to the organization and cost of transporting the body (repatriation) of the Insured/Insured person to their previous place of permanent residence due to illness or accident, within the individual terms of insurance coverage under the Insurance Contract and in accordance with these General Terms and Conditions. Such expenses include
    •    Preparation of documents for transportation, cremation, or burial;
    •    Transportation costs for repatriation;
    •    Cremation costs, or, upon additional written agreement with the relatives of the deceased Insured Person, burial costs in the country of death, reimbursed up to 10% of the sum insured.

Insurance Class 1:

  • Death of the Insured/Insured person resulting from an accident.
  • Permanent total or partial loss of working capacity (disability) of the Insured/Insured person resulting from an accident.
  • Temporary loss of working capacity (for unemployed Insured/Insured persons, including pensioners – temporary health impairment) resulting from an accident. 
    The events listed above are considered insured events if they result from a sudden health disorder or accident and cause illness, death, or property expenses during the validity of the Contract in the insured territory. Death, permanent total or partial disability resulting from an accident are considered insured events if they occur no later than one year from the date of the accident.

Insurance Class 13:

  • Covers the liability of the Insured/Insured Person for damage caused to the life, health, or property of third parties;

Insurance Class 7:

  • Covers theft, loss, disappearance, or damage (partial or complete) of baggage for any reason, in accordance with Clause 7.1 of these General Insurance Terms and Conditions. Baggage includes the personal belongings of the Insured Person transported during the trip, whether checked in with the transport organization or carried as hand luggage.
  • Covers delays in the delivery of baggage (checked or hand luggage) due to the fault of the carrier;

Insurance Class 16:

  • Covers financial losses related to the impossibility of carrying out a planned and prepaid trip or changes in travel dates due to the following:
    -    Sudden illness of the Insured Person before the start of the trip requiring 24-hour hospital treatment, preventing travel.
    -    Death or sudden illness of the Insured Person or a close relative, or an accident or death of a close relative requiring the Insured Person’s early return from the trip.
    -    Accident affecting the Insured Person before the start of the trip.
    -    Damage or destruction of the Insured Person’s real estate (more than 70%), significantly affecting financial stability or requiring their personal presence under Ukrainian law, making travel impossible.
    -    Court decision preventing the Insured Person from traveling abroad after the Insurance Contract is concluded.
    -    Notification of call-up to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for military/alternative service or participation in military training after the conclusion of the Insurance Contract, of which the Insured Person was not previously aware.
    -    Failure to obtain necessary permits (e.g., visas) for crossing borders, provided documents were submitted on time and in accordance with consulate requirements, and no prior refusal was issued.
    -    Receipt of a court summons requiring participation in court sessions or restriction of movement due to criminal proceedings, preventing travel abroad.
  • Financial losses due to trip cancellation or interruption caused by:
    -    Flight/trip delays over 6 hours due to carrier fault, theft or loss of passport/travel documents, quarantine, or natural disasters;
    -    Flight delays over 24 hours or cancellations due to carrier fault, natural disasters, or border/ quarantine restrictions;
    -    Delay in baggage delivery over 4 hours beyond standard waiting time at the airport;
    -    Loss, theft, or damage of baggage while under carrier responsibility;
    -    Loss or theft of a foreign passport, travel documents, bank card, driver’s license, or vehicle registration certificate owned by the Insured Person;
    -    Forced observation due to quarantine measures or other restrictions in the insured territory.

Risk groups may also be applied to risks under Insurance Classes 18 and 1, taking into account the higher degree of insurance risk associated with participation in sports at either a professional or amateur level, as well as in extreme sports, or in employment and work activities undertaken while traveling:

  • Risk Group SA (Amateur Sports): Covers amateur-level sports activities, including participation in amateur competitions, excluding extreme sports and riding or being a passenger on two-wheeled vehicles (excluding bicycles). For the Comprehensive Insurance Contract for Persons Traveling Abroad, amateur sports include irregular participation (e.g., during vacation) or regular participation as a non-primary activity, or participation exclusively in amateur competitions or marathons.
  • Risk Group SP (Professional Sports): Covers practicing sports at a professional level, including participation in professional competitions, excluding extreme sports. For the Comprehensive Insurance Contract for Persons Traveling Abroad, professional sports include regular sports activity when it is the main occupation of the Insured/Insured Person, when the Insured has a sports category or title (Master of Sports or Candidate for Master of Sports), or participates in competitions or marathons.
  • Risk Group SE (Extreme Sports): Covers practicing extreme sports at amateur or professional levels. For the Comprehensive Insurance Contract for Persons Traveling Abroad, extreme sports include: Mountaineering and mountain tourism (trekking) at altitudes of 2,000–4,500 meters; Mountain biking; Speleotourism (caving); Diving at depths up to 15 meters; River rafting (including rafting, kayaking, catamaran rafting, etc.); Sports diving; Hunting and fishing in hard-to-reach or remote areas; Off-road trips on jeeps, quad bikes, motorcycles, and other vehicles; High-altitude jumps, including parachute jumps and rope jumps into water; Flights using unmanned aerial vehicles; Piloting aircraft; Participation in vehicle or animal races, including car and motorcycle rallies and drifting.
  • Risk Group W1 (Moderate-Risk Occupations): Covers hired work in positions with moderate risk, including: Employees in service, trade, catering, and healthcare sectors; Vehicle drivers, including truck drivers; Security personnel (excluding personal guards); Agricultural workers, including harvesting; Ballet or dance ensemble artists; Mechanics; Airfield service personnel; Employees directly involved in production, including passenger car manufacturing, pulp and paper, machine-building, and woodworking industries.
  • Risk Group W2 (High-Risk Occupations): Covers hired work in positions with increased risk, including: Builders, particularly those engaged in climbing work; Security service personnel and personal guards; Water rescuers and firefighters; Divers and test pilots; Circus performers, animal tamers (trainers), and stuntmen; Workers in mineral development and extraction; Persons handling explosives or toxic substances; Professional fishermen (sea and ocean); Professional hunters (land, rivers, and lakes).

The individual terms of the Insurance Contract may provide coverage for other probable or accidental events that could lead to an Insured Event and are consistent with the Insured Interest.

The Insurer shall not provide indemnity for:

Insurance Classes 18 and 1:

  • Persons holding citizenship of the Russian Federation or the Republic of Belarus;
  • Persons with an established disability of Group 1 or 2, children with a disability under the age of 18, or persons with a lifelong disability since childhood;
  • Persons diagnosed with any of the following conditions:
    -    Toxic hepatitis
    -    Chronic hepatitis B, C, D, E, or F
    -    Liver cirrhosis
    -    Chronic renal failure
    -    Stroke
    -    Malignant neoplasms
  • If, after concluding the Insurance Contract, it is discovered that the Insured knowingly provided false information or concealed any of the above circumstances, the Insurer has the right to declare the Insurance Contract invalid due to error and terminate insurance coverage.

Insurance Class 7:

  • Excludes the following items: Money, jewelry, securities, discount and bank cards; Perfumes and cosmetics; Precious metals in bars, precious and semi-precious stones without settings; Antique and unique products, works of art, and collectibles; Travel documents, passports, and any other types of documents; Slides, photographs, film copies, manuscripts, plans, diagrams, drawings, models, business papers; Prostheses, contact lenses; Watches (wrist and pocket); Animals, plants, and seeds; Vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, air and water vehicles, including their additional equipment, components, accessories, and spare parts; Religious objects.

The individual terms of the Insurance Contract may specify additional insurance exclusions, provided they do not contradict current legislation.

3. Minimum and Maximum Amounts of Sum Insured (Liability Limit)

The Sum Insured is determined by agreement between the parties in accordance with the terms of the Insurance Contract.

The Sum Insured may be established for a separate Object of Insurance, an Insurance Risk, a group of Insurance Risks, or for the Insurance Contract as a whole.

After an Insurance Indemnity is paid, the Sum Insured is reduced by the amount of indemnities paid by the Insurer for medical and other services provided to the Insured/Insured Person. If the total amount of indemnities for medical and other services equals the Sum Insured specified in the Contract, the Contract shall terminate either in full or for the relevant risk/group of risks.

  • Minimum Sum Insured: UAH 30,000.00
  • Maximum Sum Insured: UAH 100,000.00

The individual terms of the Insurance Contract may specify other amounts of the Sum Insured.

4. Minimum and maximum insurance premium and/or insurance rate

  • Minimum annual rate – 0.0001%
  • Maximum annual rate – 90%

The insurance premium under the insurance contract is determined by multiplying the sum insured and the insurance rate.

5. Type, Minimum and Maximum Deductible Amounts

Deductibles by Insurance Class

Insurance Class 18: 

  • No deductible applies;

Insurance Class 1: 

  • No deductible applies;

Insurance Class 13: 

  • No deductible applies;

Insurance Class 7: 

  • An unconditional deductible of 10% of the Sum Insured applies;

Insurance Class 16: 

  • An unconditional deductible of 9.5% of the Sum Insured applies;

6. Territory and Term of Validity of the Insurance Contract (including its commencement and any specified insurance periods)

The territory covered by the Insurance Contract is defined in the Contract.

The Contract does not apply to:

Territories officially recognized as zones of hostilities (armed conflicts); Areas where a state of emergency or threat of a natural disaster has been officially declared; Settlements where state authorities temporarily do not exercise their powers and/or that are located on the contact line, in accordance with current Ukrainian regulations at the date of the insured event; Territories for which the end of hostilities has not been established as of the date of the insured event, or territories temporarily occupied, as listed by the Ministry for the Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories (Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Resolution No. 1364, dated 6 December 2022, «Some issues of forming a list of territories in which hostilities are (were) conducted or temporarily occupied by the russian federation»)

  • Minimum Term of Validity of the Insurance Contract: 2 calendar days
  • Maximum Term of Validity of the Insurance Contract: 12 months (365 days, or 366 days in a leap year)

The exact term is agreed upon by the parties and specified in the Insurance Contract.

The individual terms of the Insurance Contract may set specific insurance periods within the overall term of validity

7. Possible consequences for the consumer in case of non-compliance with the Insurance Contract, including late notification of an insured event without a valid reason or late payment of the insurance premium (or any installment thereof)

  • The Insurance Contract shall be terminated and become invalid if the Insured fails to pay the next installment of the insurance premium within the period specified in the Contract (in cases where the premium is paid in installments).
  • If the Insured fails to fulfill the terms of the Insurance Contract, the Insurer has the right to initiate early termination of the Contract.
  • The Insurer may deny paying insurance indemnity in the following cases related to the actions of the Insured or the person for whose benefit the Contract is concluded:
    -    Late notification of an insured event without a valid reason, or failure to fulfill other obligations under the Contract or law, if this prevents the Insurer from establishing the fact, cause, or circumstances of the insured event, or hinders the determination of the nature, extent, or amount of losses;
    -    Intentional actions by the Insured or the beneficiary aimed at causing the insured event, except in cases of extreme necessity, self-defense, or as permitted by law or international custom;
    -    Committing an intentional criminal offense that leads to the occurrence of the insured event;
    -    Providing false information about the insured object, circumstances relevant for assessing the insurance risk, or the occurrence of an insured event.

The individual terms of the Insurance Contract may specify other possible consequences for non-compliance, provided they do not contradict current legislation.

8. Information on the Option to Purchase the Insurance Product Separately

The insurance product is not an addition to other non-insurance goods, services, or works. It can be purchased separately.

9. Conditions for Discounts and Promotional Offers Information on any discounts or promotional offers for the insurance product, including their terms and validity periods (if applicable).

JSIC "INGO" does not provide any discounts or promotional offers for this Insurance Product.

10. List of essential information required to assess the insurance risk and/or other circumstances considered when determining the amount of the insurance premium

In each specific case, to assess the Insurance Risk for an individual Insured Person or a group of Insured Persons, the Insurer takes into account the following factors that are significant for determining the insurance premium amount:

  • Exact name of the company (in the case of collective insurance);
  • Age;
  • Gender;
  • Type of activity;
  • Geographical location / country of permanent residence;
  • Payment history under previous insurance contracts;
  • Availability of other valid insurance contracts covering the insured object;
  • Confirmed disability of groups I, II, or III;
  • Presence of the following confirmed diseases (diagnoses):
    • Toxic hepatitis
    • Chronic hepatitis B, C, D, E, F
    • Liver cirrhosis
    • Chronic renal failure
    • Stroke
    • Malignant neoplasms
    • HIV or AIDS
  • Engagement in professional or amateur sports;
  • Other relevant information that may affect the probability of the occurrence of an Insured Event and/or the potential amount of loss

This information may be provided by the Insured in writing through completion of an insurance application or by submitting electronic communications.

11. Notice to the Policyholder: Please review all information carefully before entering into an insurance contract.

Before entering into the Insurance Contract, the Insured must review the information regarding Exclusions from insured events and grounds for indemnity denial. Limits of the insurer’s liability for each insured object, risk, or event. Insurance risk and/or insured events; and The procedure and conditions for calculating and paying insurance indemnities.   • Excludes the following items: Money, jewelry, securities, discount and bank cards; Perfumes and cosmetics; Precious metals in bars, precious and semi-precious stones without settings; Antique and unique products, works of art, and collectibles; Travel documents, passports, and any other types of documents; Slides, photographs, film copies, manuscripts, plans, diagrams, drawings, models, business papers; Prostheses, contact lenses; Watches (wrist and pocket); Animals, plants, and seeds; Vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, air and water vehicles, including their additional equipment, components, accessories, and spare parts; Religious objects

The individual terms of the Insurance Contract may specify additional insurance exclusions, provided they do not contradict current legislation.

3. Minimum and Maximum Amounts of Sum Insured (Liability Limit)

The Sum Insured is determined by agreement between the parties in accordance with the terms of the Insurance Contract.

The Sum Insured may be established for a separate Object of Insurance, an Insurance Risk, a group of Insurance Risks, or for the Insurance Contract as a whole.

After an Insurance Indemnity is paid, the Sum Insured is reduced by the amount of indemnities paid by the Insurer for medical and other services provided to the Insured/Insured Person. If the total amount of indemnities for medical and other services equals the Sum Insured specified in the Contract, the Contract shall terminate either in full or for the relevant risk/group of risks.

  • Minimum Sum Insured: UAH 100,000.00
  • Maximum Sum Insured: EUR 30,000.00

The individual terms of the Insurance Contract may specify other amounts of the Sum Insured.

4. Minimum and maximum insurance premium and/or insurance rate

  • Minimum annual rate – 0.0001%
  • Maximum annual rate – 90%

The insurance premium under the insurance contract is determined by multiplying the sum insured and the insurance rate.

5. Type, Minimum and Maximum Deductible Amounts

Deductibles by Insurance Class

Insurance Class 18: 

  • No deductible applies;

Insurance Class 1: 

  • No deductible applies;

Insurance Class 13: 

  • No deductible applies;

Insurance Class 7: 

  • An unconditional deductible of 10% of the Sum Insured applies;

Insurance Class 16: 

  • An unconditional deductible of 9.5% of the Sum Insured applies;

6. Territory and Term of Validity of the Insurance Contract (including its commencement and any specified insurance periods)

The territory covered by the Insurance Contract is defined in the Contract.

The Contract does not apply to:

Territories officially recognized as zones of hostilities (armed conflicts); Areas where a state of emergency or threat of a natural disaster has been officially declared; Settlements where state authorities temporarily do not exercise their powers and/or that are located on the contact line, in accordance with current Ukrainian regulations at the date of the insured event; Territories for which the end of hostilities has not been established as of the date of the insured event, or territories temporarily occupied, as listed by the Ministry for the Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories (Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Resolution No. 1364, dated 6 December 2022, «Some issues of forming a list of territories in which hostilities are (were) conducted or temporarily occupied by the russian federation»)

  • Minimum Term of Validity of the Insurance Contract: 2 calendar days
  • Maximum Term of Validity of the Insurance Contract: 12 months (365 days, or 366 days in a leap year)

The exact term is agreed upon by the parties and specified in the Insurance Contract.

The individual terms of the Insurance Contract may set specific insurance periods within the overall term of validity

7. Possible consequences for the consumer in case of non-compliance with the Insurance Contract, including late notification of an insured event without a valid reason or late payment of the insurance premium (or any installment thereof)

  • The Insurance Contract shall be terminated and become invalid if the Insured fails to pay the next installment of the insurance premium within the period specified in the Contract (in cases where the premium is paid in installments).
  • If the Insured fails to fulfill the terms of the Insurance Contract, the Insurer has the right to initiate early termination of the Contract.
  • The Insurer may deny paying insurance indemnity in the following cases related to the actions of the Insured or the person for whose benefit the Contract is concluded:
    -    Late notification of an insured event without a valid reason, or failure to fulfill other obligations under the Contract or law, if this prevents the Insurer from establishing the fact, cause, or circumstances of the insured event, or hinders the determination of the nature, extent, or amount of losses;
    -    Intentional actions by the Insured or the beneficiary aimed at causing the insured event, except in cases of extreme necessity, self-defense, or as permitted by law or international custom;
    -    Committing an intentional criminal offense that leads to the occurrence of the insured event;
    -    Providing false information about the insured object, circumstances relevant for assessing the insurance risk, or the occurrence of an insured event.

The individual terms of the Insurance Contract may specify other possible consequences for non-compliance, provided they do not contradict current legislation.

8. Information on the Option to Purchase the Insurance Product Separately

The insurance product is not an addition to other non-insurance goods, services, or works. It can be purchased separately.

9. Conditions for Discounts and Promotional Offers Information on any discounts or promotional offers for the insurance product, including their terms and validity periods (if applicable)

JSIC "INGO" does not provide any discounts or promotional offers for this Insurance Product.

10. List of essential information required to assess the insurance risk and/or other circumstances considered when determining the amount of the insurance premium

In each specific case, to assess the Insurance Risk for an individual Insured Person or a group of Insured Persons, the Insurer takes into account the following factors that are significant for determining the insurance premium amount:

  • Exact name of the company (in the case of collective insurance);
  • Age;
  • Gender;
  • Type of activity;
  • Geographical location / country of permanent residence;
  • Payment history under previous insurance contracts;
  • Availability of other valid insurance contracts covering the insured object;
  • Confirmed disability of groups I, II, or III;
  • Presence of the following confirmed diseases (diagnoses):
    • Toxic hepatitis
    • Chronic hepatitis B, C, D, E, F
    • Liver cirrhosis
    • Chronic renal failure
    • Stroke
    • Malignant neoplasms
    • HIV or AIDS
  • Engagement in professional or amateur sports;
  • Other relevant information that may affect the probability of the occurrence of an Insured Event and/or the potential amount of loss

This information may be provided by the Insured in writing through completion of an insurance application or by submitting electronic communications.

11. Notice to the Policyholder: Please review all information carefully before entering into an insurance contract

Before entering into the Insurance Contract, the Insured must review the information regarding Exclusions from insured events and grounds for indemnity denial. Limits of the insurer’s liability for each insured object, risk, or event. Insurance risk and/or insured events; and The procedure and conditions for calculating and paying insurance indemnities.
