INGO Insurance Company records an increase in applications for health insurance programs. In September, we received 20% more claims than last month.
Payments for September claims are still ongoing. However, according to forecasts, the total amount of payments will continue to grow and increase by 23%, which will total UAH 28-29 million. In August 2021, INGO has already reimbursed almost UAH 23 million for the provision of medical care to the insured, which is 4% more than in July of the same year.
"In October, we expect another round of growth of at least 30%. In addition to the seasonality factor, we are expecting another outbreak of coronavirus," said Serhiy Maistrenko, Deputy Chairman of the Board of INGO.
To cope with the new wave of morbidity (including COVID-19 infections), the company has strengthened its service department, which provides consulting and organizational assistance. The number of employees in the contact center has been increased, all of whom have medical education and have undergone special training.
