INGO Insurance Company has supported the KARG Firefighting Unit by helping finance the purchase of emergency rescue equipment for use at fire scenes, sites of destruction, and other emergency response operations.

With the company's support, the unit has already purchased and received the equipment required for firefighting and initial rescue operations. This includes a portable firefighting module, rubble-clearing tools, hydraulic rescue equipment, fire hoses, and other essential gear that enables rescuers to work more quickly and safely in challenging conditions.

The KARG Firefighting Unit responds to a wide range of emergencies, including extinguishing wildland and ecosystem fires, addressing the aftermath of shelling, operating at sites of destruction, and clearing debris. During the full-scale war, teams such as KARG have played a vital role in providing rapid assistance to communities where an immediate response, technical expertise, and specialized equipment are critically needed.

“Insurance has always been associated not only with indemnifying losses but also with preventing risks and supporting community safety. Historically, insurers established and funded volunteer fire brigades at a time when municipal fire and rescue services were still being developed. Today, we continue this tradition by supporting those who work at emergency sites and help people in their most critical moments,” said Andrii Semchenko, CEO of INGO
Andrii Semchenko

He noted that the company's support is practical and immediately impactful: the equipment has already been delivered to the firefighting unit and is ready for deployment during emergency callouts. For INGO, this initiative reflects the company's commitment to responsible business practices and to enhancing the safety of people, local communities, and the emergency responders who work every day in high-risk environments.
