INGO Insurance Company Paid UAH 20 Million for Damages from Air Attack in Kyiv

INGO Insurance Company paid UAH 20 million under a comprehensive property insurance contract for legal entities with war risk coverage. The indemnity was received by IRPIN-BUDPROEKT-PLUS LLC, which belongs to Dragon Capital Group of Companies.

The office complex with an underground parking lot with an area of 10,629.9 sq. m., located in Kyiv at 98 Velyka Vasylkivska Street, was damaged on December 20, 2024 as a result of the air attack by the aggressor on the capital. As a result of the fall of missile fragments, the ceilings of upper floors, the exterior and interior decoration of premises, the facade of building and engineering communications were damaged. The event was qualified as insured.

“This event once again confirms the importance of insurance coverage, including against war risks for business,” said Oleksandr Kolpakov, Head of the Property Loss Adjustment Department of INGO Insurance Company.

The reinsurance of 50% of risks was provided by ORANTA NASK. “For ORANTA, the property insurance against war risks is still a new direction, but at present this direction is a critically important tool for protecting business in Ukraine.
