Notice of Change in Vehicle Ownership Under a Compulsory Motor Third-Party Liability Insurance Policy
1. What is the deadline for filing a notice of a change in ownership of a vehicle used as collateral?
The new owner of an insured vehicle must, within 15 calendar days of acquiring ownership of the vehicle, notify the Insurer in writing and provide the Insurer with their personal information.
2. How do I notify the insurer of a change in ownership of the insured vehicle?

The notification must be submitted in paper form (with a handwritten signature) or electronically (with a qualified or simple electronic signature). You can sign the notification via “Signing Documents | Diya.”
- Print out the Notice, fill it out, sign it, and date it.
- Take a photo or scan a copy of the Notice.
- Upload the photo or scanned copy using the “Notification Form Regarding a Change of Owner of a Vehicle Insured Under a VNTZ MTPL Policy” (below). Important: Please provide your correct email address to receive a response from INGO.
Please attach documents confirming ownership of the vehicle to the notification, such as:
- Vehicle Registration Certificate
- Extract from the Unified Register of Vehicles (URV)
- Purchase and sale agreement
- Vehicle Acceptance and Transfer Certificate
